Barrique Brewing and Blending originally began in 2018 in a small 576 sq ft corner space licensed to be a brewery. Starting with 48 wine barrels and 7 different batches brewed by owner and brewmaster, Joel Stickrod. After that, Joel doubled his volume to 100 casts. In early 2019, Joel sold the first Barrique bottles and in that first year sold about 3,000 bottles. With great feedback, Barrique continued to grow, expended and evolved with the need for more space and more barrels. In 2020, he continued sales via curb-side and direct-to-customer sales of around 10,000 bottles.
Within the next year, Barrique moved to the current location at 10,000 sq feet and the first round of employees were hired. Quickly filling with 600 barrels, the taproom doors officially opened in May 2021. The continued passion behind our brand is to create, blend and make impeccable beer for our customers.
Currently, our beers are distributed all over Tennessee, to Virginia, Ohio, several additional states, internationally and continuing to grow. Barrique strives to have every product in whether it is consumed in our taproom with our 12+ Luker faucets, bottles or cans or any location near you it is of the highest quality standard.
